OpenCart is lightweight, open source and widely translated, which makes it a common choice for print shops running their own storefront without a platform fee. Print.App is web2print for OpenCart: it installs as a standard OpenCart extension and adds a design editor to the products you choose. Your theme, catalog and checkout stay exactly as they are.
The illustrated version, including where to find your keys, is in the OpenCart installation guide. There is also a guide on retrieving print files once orders start arriving.
A real OpenCart install with Print.App enabled on its products.
Download the zip from the Print.App OpenCart repository on GitHub, then upload it in your admin under Extensions, Extension Installer. After the upload completes, go to Extensions, Modifications and hit refresh so OpenCart picks up the changes.
OpenCart applies extension changes through its modification system, and it only rebuilds them when you refresh. Skipping that step is the single most common reason a freshly uploaded OpenCart extension appears to do nothing.
No. If you already run an OpenCart store you can install the extension straight onto it without touching your catalog.
A design editor on the products you enable, working in the browser on desktop and mobile, with the size and bleed limits you set. What you get is a print-ready file with the order.
Usage-based, the same on every platform: 100 print file downloads free per month, then $0.10 each, with 1GB of free storage. No subscription and no commission.
No. There is no per-order fee, no commission and no percentage of revenue, on any plan. You pay $0.10 when you download a print file and nothing else, so a $12 mug and a $1,200 signage job cost exactly the same to process. Order-based fees scale with your sales rather than with the work actually done, and we would rather charge for the work we perform and leave your margin where it was earned.
