Custom installation is for web stores that we have NOT developed plugins for.We have plugings for the following cart frameworks and it’s easier installing those plugins than doing custom a installation:
To start a custom installation, you need at least one HTML page loaded from your site where you will load the editor unto. This can also be a local html page for testing. If you already have a website in place, this will naturally be your products page template.

Integration Steps

  1. Load editor.js script. This script is loaded via a CDN, so it’s blazingly fast to load to your customers anywhere across the world.
  2. Initialize PrintAppClient:
  3. Create a button to launch the designer:
  4. Attach an event listener to launch the editor once the button is clicked:
  5. Load the page and check that the editor launches when you click the Launch Designer button. If the editor does not load, please check your browser console if there are any errors and do reach out to our Discord community for assistance anytime. A complete sample code is posted at the end of this page.
This is the most basic installation step. You should event listeners to know when the app is ready. For a full API specs please read our Editor Configuration section to get more detailed api parameter and event lists.
