Print.App Shopware image
Shopware is a leading eCommerce platform, especially strong in the German-speaking market where much of the world’s online printing happens. Print.App ships as a Shopware app: no PHP is added to your server, and installation is a single upload.
The app supports Shopware 6.6 and 6.7 on self-hosted Shopware and Shopware PaaS. Shopware Cloud (SaaS) only permits extensions installed from the Shopware Store, so Cloud shops cannot install it yet.
  1. Download the app zip from GitHub and upload it in your Shopware admin under Extensions -> My Extensions -> Upload extension. On your own server you can also place the folder in custom/apps/ and run bin/console app:install PrintApp --activate.
  2. Activate the app. During installation it registers with Print.App automatically and a store connection is created for your shop, with your Domain Key written into the app configuration for you. There are no keys to copy.
You can see (or override) the keys under Extensions -> My Extensions -> Print.App -> Configure.
  3. Claim your store in Print.App Admin so it appears in your account, then add or copy the designs you want to sell into it.
  4. Now link a design to a product. Open a product in your Shopware admin and use the Assign Print.App design action (the ”…” menu on the product detail page). This opens the Print.App assignment dialog with the product pre-selected. You can also map from the Product Mappings panel in your Print.App admin, which lists your shop’s products by name.
  5. You’re all set! Open the product on your store front and check that it shows the Personalise button. After a customer saves a design, their previews replace the product images, follow the item into the cart, and every confirmed order is synced to Print.App with the buyer attached to their project.
  6. To download print-ready files for an order, open the order in your Shopware admin and use the Print.App files action: it lists every customized line with its previews and PDF, PNG, JPG and TIFF downloads.

Trouble shooting guide

If you can't see the Customize now button in your product page, please follow these guides:
  1. Ensure you have a price set for the product; if not, the customize button will not show.
  2. Also ensure that the domain name matches the domain title in Print.App domains
  3. If still it doesn't show, please reach out to us on our discord community.
