Print.App comes to Shopware

Print.App now runs on Shopware 6. The app supports Shopware 6.6 and 6.7 on self-hosted Shopware and Shopware PaaS, and there is a live demo store you can try right now.

Why Shopware

The German-speaking market is the world capital of online printing, and Shopware is its home platform. If you sell print products through Shopware today, the design step probably still happens over email: artwork arrives as attachments, gets checked by hand, and is matched to orders manually. Print.App closes that gap. Your customers design in the browser, on your product pages, and every order arrives with its print-ready file.

Built as an app, and what that buys you

Print.App ships as a Shopware app, not a plugin. That means:

• Nothing is added to your PHP installation. The app extends your storefront with templates and talks to Print.App over authenticated APIs.
• Installation is genuinely one click. Upload the app, and during installation it registers with Print.App automatically and writes its own configuration. There are no keys to copy and no settings to hunt for.

One caveat worth stating plainly: this is for self-hosted Shopware and Shopware PaaS. Shopware Cloud only runs extensions installed from the Shopware Store, and Shopware has temporarily paused onboarding of new Extension Partners while they rework their review process. We will list the app there as soon as applications reopen; until then, Cloud shops are the one group we cannot serve.

What the app does

• A design editor on your product pages. Products you enable get a Personalise button that opens the full Print.App editor. Assign designs with the Assign Print.App design action right on the product detail page.
• Previews in the cart. The customer’s own design replaces the product image on the cart line, so what they made is what they see through checkout.
• Print-ready files from the order. Open any order and use the Print.App files action: every customized line lists its previews and its vector PDF, PNG, JPG and TIFF downloads.
• Automatic order sync. Orders with customized items land in your Print.App dashboard the moment they are placed, with the buyer attached to their project.
• German included. The editor follows your storefront language (it speaks over 70), and the app ships with German translations for the administration.

Setup takes three steps

1. Download PrintApp.zip from the latest release and upload it under Extensions in your Shopware admin.
2. There is no step two. The app configures itself during installation.
3. Open a product and assign a design with the Assign Print.App design action.

Same pricing as everywhere else

Nothing changes about how Print.App charges: no subscription, no commission, no per-order fee. You get 100 print file downloads free every month, then pay $0.10 per download. A 12 euro mug and a 1,200 euro signage job cost exactly the same to process. Shopware does not tax your revenue, and neither do we.
